Are you a mac?

Ok you’d really have to love your iPod to want one as a coffee table, but nonetheless it’s pretty cool looking!  This design comes from industrial designer and mac lover Mirko Ginepro.  It’s made from Corian, steel, and glass, so it offers plenty of strength in addition to its unique and brilliant look. I guess the only problem here is if you’re a mac and you live with a pc! So far, three have been produced for Milan design week, one for a hotel, and another for an art gallery. They are available for purchase, but are currently made only to order. See more or get your own here .

Surrounded by keys

As someone who types on a keyboard all day long (as I’m sure a lot of you do to), the Keyboard Bench instantly caught my attention. This bench is made of Baltic birch and is embedded with two thousand computer keys that you can actually press, though don’t expect any words to show up on your monitor.

Petals

What a stunning lamp!  This piece instantly caught my eye, and the more I found out about it the more I liked it.  First, it’s called Petals and designed by Gülnur Özdaglar. Second, and truly impressive I have to say, the round clear “petals” you see are actually made from used soda bottles.

After digging out of a foot of snow this morning, the question everyone seems to be asking today is “is it summer yet?!”  So naturally when I came upon these awesome lounges from Tucci I felt the need to share them with you.  I like pretty much anything summer related, but there’s no denying the style and luxurious appeal of these lounges.  I mean who wouldn’t want to be sitting there right now! Conceal

A prime example of great minimalist design, the Conceal Bookshelf makes a statement with its “lack” of design. The design is smart though, which is why I like it, and of course it looks fun too. Your favorite books appear to float right off the wall and best of all these shelves are available for a reasonable $14!
