The Shopper

Lately, I love anything glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, etc. If you can see through it, I love it! So when I saw the Shopper over on Designspotter this week, I was instantly intrigued. Made of hand-welded, body-tinted glass, the design of the Shopper is inspired by – you guessed it – a shopping bag! Although they say it is designed for different uses and is multipurpose – I’m not sure what I’d use it for other than a fun piece

Recipe Radar: Christmas Morning Breakfast

While sifting through Pinterest,  I saw a recipe marked “for Christmas morning” and it got me thinking about traditions that many people have while they open presents. My grandma always made a Christmas tree out of cinnamon buns and decorated it with green and red. Does your family have any traditions like this?

Everyone Wishes for Silver and Gold

I’ve got Christmas music on the brain, and nothing suits the Silver and Gold tune better than these beautiful stools. They’re made by Koket , the same company that makes the flashy furniture mentioned in Friday’s Weekly Six. Known as the Mandy Stool , the stools are upholstered in plush black velvet and available with either a stainless steel or polished brass base.

Hello! Today I thought I’d give you a little peek inside my home to check out my holiday decor. It’s kind of a mish-mash – my white tree doesn’t really match the make-shift mantel we created – but that’s ok. Because I really really loveee that white tree. And the rest kind of just happened that way.

Have A Seat In My Settee

My sofa is probably one of the most modern pieces in my home. I just love the straight lines that a modern sofa has – the way it parallels the surrounding walls no matter how close or far away it’s situated. Does that make sense

Matchy-Matchy: Love This Look?

This morning while going through my Google reader, I saw the first image on Desire to Inspire and then the second not too long after over on Material Girls. They got me thinking about being all matchy-matchy. I like the monochromatic look, but I’m not sure I like the matching look. Would you agree that they’re two different things?
