Six Different Scarves

It’s getting chillier and chillier as the days go by. Well at least here in NJ! What’s the weather like by you? (If it’s warm, please don’t tell me!) Even though its been unseasonably warm this late in the Fall season, it’s still strange to think about transitioning scarves and gloves into my daily attire

Six Different Washi Tapes

I’m thinking of investing in some washi tape, since I don’t yet own any. Now may be as good of a time as any with the holidays coming up, as I’ve seen several blogs and Pinterest pins brightening up their wrapping with washi tape here and there. There are a ton of bright and pretty solid colors, polka dots and stripes, but for this post I decided to go with six really different patterns, not patterns that are “everyday” patterns

Would You Rather?: Christmas Tree Edition

Do you think that Christmas trees should match with a home’s decor? I don’t! I think that the Christmas tree should be whatever a person wants it to be, whether it fits in with their decor or not. (It’s only temporary anyway, right?) Would you rather have a modern Christmas tree like the colorful white one above? Or would you rather have a traditional tree with the reds, golds, and greens of the holiday season

Recipe Radar: Cookies!

Are you doing any baking this holiday season? I’m dying to get in my kitchen and bake a million cookies and truffles and maybe even some peppermint bark, too! The cookie recipes I’ve included in today’s Recipe Radar are all cookies that I plan to bake this weekend. I made all of my cookie decisions based on cookies that my mom made every year.

Six Different Piggy Banks

I don’t know about you, but I keep my change in a hideous plastic container that does nothing for my decor. It’s kind of embarrassing now that I think about it, because it has a yellow and brown sticker on the outside. So, anyway, I’ve been thinking for a while now that maybe a fun piggy bank would be better for my home

Six Different Menorahs

Last week, when I talked about six different Christmas trees , I promised something for those who don’t celebrate Christmas. I know I’m a few days behind, but here I am with six different menorahs! Do you celebrate Hanukkah? If so, what type of menorah do you celebrate with? Do you prefer a more traditional menorah, or would you go for some of the more modern ones, like the first one in the second row above?

A Little of This, A Little of That

As you know, I love me some modern furniture. But I also don’t mind switching things up a bit every once in a while. So, a few weeks ago when I was introduced to Cymax Furniture , I had no problem spending time (probably too much time) surfing through their website. Needless to say, I was nowhere near bored, as Cymax has tons and tons of products.

Easy On, Easy Off

When I was a kid, I remember picking out this awesome pink flower wallpaper border for my new room. I was so excited for it to go up, and once it adorned the walls of my pink room, I was sick of it after about a week. There are so many cool wallpaper patterns available, and now as an adult I worry about even going there because I know I would get sick of it way sooner than later. And then I heard about Ink Shuffle.

The Windows at London’s Fortnum & Mason

Just wanted to share one last detail of my trip to London last week – the windows at Fortnum & Mason ! Again, my apologies for the iPhone photos. But hopefully you can get an idea of how lovely they are. My favorite is the one with all of the peacock feathers – so glam! Unfortunately, we arrived to Piccadilly Circus too late to check out the inside of the store, but my mom says it’s fabulous and I hope to visit the next time I’m overseas. Have you ever been
