House Number

In preparation for my holiday cards, (and since this is the first holiday season that my boyfriend are living together and our addresses are no longer the same as our parents!) I wanted something fun, yet sophisticated. However, since we both have different last names, all of those labels that say “The Smith Family” or “John and Mary Smith” just wouldn’t work for us. (I told him that better change by the next holiday season, don’t you worry!) Just when I thought I’d have to hand-write our address on my cards, I found these House Number return address labels by Sara Luke Creative / Less Ordinary Designs on Etsy.

Six Different Christmas Trees

It’s December 1st and many people out there have already had their tree and other holiday decor up since last week. Are you one of them? I’m not! I wanted to wait until December 1st this year, just to enjoy that last bit of fall lingering in my house

Six Different Wine Glasses

I’m thinking of investing in some big, beautiful wine glasses. There’s something about a huge wine glass that makes drinking wine so much more enjoyable. Throw in some color or a unique design and it doesn’t matter if its wine or water being poured into that glass.

Thanksgiving In London

Hello everyone – hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! As my parents have been living in London for the past four years, we have spent three out of those four years celebrating Thanksgiving there, this year being the third. Soon after landing on Wednesday morning, we headed to Harrod’s to get some fun decor for our table, which you see above.

Esty Roundup: Clutches

Although today’s Etsy Roundup looks like it’s one for the ladies, it works doubly as a gift guide for the guys out there in search of the perfect gift for the women in their lives. The way I see it is that you can never have too many clutches in your wardrobe. I love clutches so much that I keep one in my purse at all times in case of emergencies. And by emergency I mean when I don’t feel like lugging my purse around.

Would You Rather: Chandelier or Drum?

If you had to absolutely choose between one or the other – which would you rather – a chandelier or a drum? And where would you put it? Chandeliers come in so many different varieties – some ginormous, some smaller, some colored, some clear and sparkly. The one thing I would never choose in a chandelier is lights that look like big fake candles.
